Emanuel Ungaro

A sensual obsessive

French fashion designer Emanuel Ungaro opened his fashion house in 1965, in Paris after learning his profession with Balenciaga, thanks to which he distinguished himself in the world of luxury fashion. Calling himself “sensual obsessive,” he designs carnal clothes so that the Ungaro spirit lives in every woman. The “designer who loves women” counts Jackie Kennedy, Catherine Deneuve, Gena Rowlands, Isabelle Adjani, and Anouk Aimée among his clients from the very beginning. In his eyewear collections, too, the master imposes his provocative and free style: extravagant shapes, unique decorations and daring color combinations, also carried over into the line created in collaboration with Persol in the 1980s and 1990s.

When it is available, we provide Emanuel Ungaro vintage glasses with their own original case, except for those that have deteriorated over time.
